Leman Middle School Welcomes David Serpas as Dean
Beginning in the July 2018, Leman Middle School will have two deans joining the team.  These positions are new additions to the middle school staff that were approved by the Board of Education this spring.

LMS Dean of Students - David Serpas

Serpas is not new to Leman Middle School.  Since he joined the middle school team in 2016, he has been an ED Facilitator during which time he created and implemented the PAUSE (Positive Assistance and Understanding Supportive Environment) program.

This classroom/program supports students of all three grade levels with educational, social and emotional, and a variety of needs specific to each student's success. The work that students do in the PAUSE classroom contributes to their success in their classes with teachers and students.

David’s 10 years of leadership responsibilities, experience in public and alternative school settings, and work with all academic subjects, including physical education and health, provide him with the background to be effective with students and staff in his new role as dean.

"I am honored to continue to serve the Leman School community."
