Leman Middle School Welcomes Antonio Diaz as Dean
Beginning in the July 2018, Leman Middle School will have two deans joining the team.  These positions are new additions to the middle school staff that were approved by the Board of Education this spring. 
 
 Please welcome Antonio Diaz.  
 


LMS Dean of Students - Antonio Diaz

Antonio Diaz earned his bachelor’s degree from Benedictine University in Lisle, with a major in Spanish and secondary education in 2012. In 2015, he earned a certification in TESOl/ESL/dual and bilingual education from Illinois State University and continued on to complete a masters in educational leadership from the University of Concordia, Chicago in 2017. Antonio comes to Leman Middle School from Schaumburg School District 54 where he spent his first 6 years of teaching at Eisenhower Junior High in Hoffman Estates. Throughout his years at District 54, Antonio taught ESL, language arts, reading intervention and dual language. Antonio spent years working with the schools Positive Behavior Intervention team in multiple facets. Antonio not only enjoyed working with students inside the classroom, but he also spent many years mentoring students and coaching a variety of sports, including wrestling, girls basketball and track. Antonio is excited to begin working as the Dean of Students at Leman Middle School and looks forward to getting to know the staff, students and families.
